Take Me Out to the Ball Game!

Jack had a very busy weekend. On Friday Jack and I visited my friend Kim and her husband Tim while Jess helped move Uncle Jimi into a new house. We then went to the new house for a pizza party!! Jack slept, but we had fun. Then I had to work on my LAST legal writing assignment.


We took Jack to his, (and our) first Husker baseball game on Saturday! Jack and I picked up Jess from work and we had a quick tailgate picnic with food from Lazlo's (yummy!) before going to the baseball game. The weather was perfect!!! Not even too windy. It was so fun. We met our friends Kim and Tim there. Uncle Jimi and his girlfriend Nikki were there too. We only stayed for one game, but the Huskers swept the weekend, including both games on Saturday.

We were also treated with a visit from The Thalken’s. Todd, Lois, and Isabel stopped by before the Kearney High Basketball game and Jack got a kick out of them. They each had him going. I was silly and didn’t get any pictures. It was so fun to see them, and they pretended to enjoy seeing Jess and me, but I know it was Jack they were all about.


Sunday was gloomy outside, but it seemed light and bright for me as I finished my legal writing assignment!!!! Yeah! We had to take a trip to the law school to utilize the free printing, but that was fun because my friends Amanda and Heather were there so they got to play with Jack this weekend too. He drooled and spit-up on both of them, but they were gracious enough not to care. He can get away with anything because he is so cute!

Monday my friends and I went to Don and Millie’s for margaritas at lunch to celebrate being done with our brief’s.
