(ok, so we tried to go to the rehearsal... the lights weren't working, and the organizers weren't working, but the bit I saw was outstanding!! and we got to play with the other girls!!)

(I remember the actual picking as fun... perhaps it was when I was a kid, now it just seems like a lot of work!)

We did come away with enough strawberries to have strawberry shortcake and to make jam...which I might add has been called "the best jam ever."

WORK, WORK, WORK

So, in attempting to blog this summer, I'm learning some things:
1) I don't take very many pictures on my own.
2) I continue to believe that others will share pictures with me (they don't).
3) When we do take pictures, it is on our phones, and I haven't figured out how to put them onto the blog from the phone.

Just when I fix one problem, another one arises...I'll fix this one and give you a new excuse next month.
