Hoppin' down the bunny trail.

Here come's Sam's cottontail...

We had a fun Easter weekend at home this year. We were in Holdrege the weekend before and Mom & Dad were going to be out of town so we decided not to make the trip two weeks in a row. On Saturday, Rod & Phyllis came down for a quick visit during the day. That evening we dyed the Easter eggs. Jess made really cool ones where he wrapped the eggs in electrical tape before putting them in the dye.

Jack woke up at 6:00 am (UGH!!!) on Sunday! He tried to go back to sleep, but the excitement of potential presents was too much for actual sleep. I say potential presents because the Easter Bunny works the same way as Santa, be good or no presents... I didn't figure that out until Friday or Saturday, I should have used that for at least a month. (I guess Uncle Sam will bring 4th of July presents).

Jack loved hunting for eggs...he was oblivious to the presents sitting on the couch. I guess random things on the couch are too commonplace in our "controlled" state of messiness.

And Sam just looked super cute in the Easter outfit.
