Howdy!

We are so glad that spring weather is here and that we've been able to say "Howdy" to some of our favorite activities... one of which is going for coffee (we do that year round) and climbing on the train (warm weather only please!).
Jess is also back in the "racing circuit" he's run a 5k, 10k, and a sprint distance triathlon already. Jack, Sam, and I have been practicing getting to races before Jess finishes...we have yet to succeed. On the day of the 10k we took our kite with but did not fly it at the race.
That afternoon, when it was way too windy to fly a kite, we flew the kite. Jack flew his kite right into a tree...rather he let go of the string and we watched it fly into a tree. On the upside, we know right where the kite is still.
Ok, these pictures are why this post is called howdy. It was the week of the young child at Trinity so they had dress up days this week. One day was Western day and thanks to Uncle Bill we had a ton of cool cowboy stuff to wear (cowboys wear loafers right?).
This cowboy had ketchup and mustard in his holsters because weapons are not allowed at Trinity (thank goodness!!).
Sheriff Jack had a deputy for the day too.
