On April fools day we went to Red Oak for a sock-hop. No Joke!
The hop was held as a fundraiser for something (perhaps I could ask) and Bill was one of the emcees for the night.
We were excited to go and to let Jack show off some of his moves.
We were exhausted after Jack showed off said moves because they consist of him flinging himself around while you are holding his hands.
Now Bill and Caitie have some real moves.
Their moves even won them the dance contest. Perhaps the judges were biased (Christie was one of them) but they were really good!
The girls were thrilled to have us there to play the rest of the weekend.
Saturday night we had a crab boil for supper.
After supper the girls and Ron and Nita watched the boys while Bill, Chris, Jess and I went to a Beatles tribute show.
Sam really liked Red Oak.
We had such a fun time in Red Oak. Jess was super excited that Bill had a list of projects lined up for them to work on. I think the most important project they worked on was getting the pool ready. We can't wait to go back!
