Esquire

Ok, there is really no excuse to be this late blogging about this except for the fact that I completely hate studying for the bar exam and try to stay away from the computer unless I am doing so...and it is not as easy to blog and listen to a lecture. Since I didn't listen and started the blog during law school, I must now listen to the lectures and not blog. UGH!

As I indicated months ago, I graduated from law school!!!! Finally, but it was not the dreamed of moment I once imagined because the bar exam was looming (and still is).

There were several celebrations that week, one for the clinic, a margarita lunch with friends, a "tailgate party" and a family dinner. I had planned on having a tailgate party to celebrate with friends prior to a baseball game on the Friday before graduation. It was SO windy that day so the party moved to our house but was still a success.
My two law school best friends (Amanda in the plaid, Heather in the tan)
My second parents!
Jessi and Heather (I'm sure I took pictures with them, but can't find them).

Mom came to help! Thanks!!!
Why not let the kid and the puppy tap the keg? We did not let Jack drink, but I found out that the guys discovered that Roxie really likes beer.

Thank you to all of the friends and family who helped me celebrate. (and a special thanks to Jimi for the Jimmy Johns!!!)

Saturday was a jam packed day getting ready for graduation.
The kids practiced for their future.
Jack also tried out my shoes for the day to make sure they would work.

There was a family traditions ceremony which Rod and I participated in prior to graduation, but I can't find those pictures either.

Then GRADUATION!I checked my diploma right away to make sure it was signed and was slightly startled to find an additional piece of paper in it (it was only a certificate for my program of concentrated study; phew!).

Amanda and I took a few shots together after the ceremony...we couldn't find Heather.
Notice our red shoes too! Go Big Red!

We had a really fun dinner at Lee's Chicken after the ceremony with lots of family. It was so fun to get to spend time celebrating with the people I love.

That night we went and celebrated some more at Amanda's party at legends. It was fun to meet some of her friends that I've heard so much about and to spend time with Andrew (since he lives in Denver) and Amber (mutual friend of Amanda and Heather Lambert, now my friend).
Andrew, Amanda, Me, Jess.
Me, Amber, Amanda.

So I did it, I graduated and am now suffering through bar exam studies.
