FUN

You can tell we've been having lots of fun because I've been neglectful to the blog.
Jack has had a few fun evenings playing with James. They especially liked having Jimi push them up and down the hall together.

Jack also moved into a "big boy" bed over Christmas break. He was in a time-out right after I finished my finals and all of a sudden we heard him say, "I'm up here!" He had crawled up on the dresser part attached to his bed; so we took off the side and he's been enjoying the freedom every morning.

We got a wii over break. Jack is really good at wii games and enjoys watching us play too.
Jack and I have enjoyed a few trips to the Children's museum since Christmas. One week we even went three times! We also were able to go with Bill, Caitie, and Anna.
One Sunday afternoon we went to the zoo in Omaha. It was a decent day outside (i.e. not below 0) so it wasn't bad scurrying from the aquarium to the jungle. We really enjoyed getting to spend lots of time because there were no crowds.

We also spent a night in Omaha to celebrate Jessi's birthday. Jack really enjoyed listening to the way things sound different with cups on his ears.
Mom and Dad had also come down for the birthday so they enjoyed dinner with us and then watched Jack while Jess and I stayed out for a while.

We stayed at a fun hotel with a huge pool! Jack had a lot of fun swimming.

We have had a TON of snow too. One day between snow storms, we figured out where the sled was buried in the back yard. It was fun to find it because it had been missing since Christmas.

Blackie enjoyed having us play in the snow with her too.

I think Jack had an ok time too.

Once we found the sled we decided to go to Pioneers park and try the sledding hill. We were the first ones out there that morning. It was good for us that there was fresh snow so we went a little slower than we might have had it been packed down.
Jack also tried out the ramp without the sled. I'm not sure he knew that he was missing anything.

We also went for a hike through the park and took a moment to bury me...Jack thought I should be completely buried and covered my face too.
We have really had fun the last couple months and look forward to more fun and warmer weather!
