As my friend Heather first thought...NO, we are not expecting!
Jack has been spending lots of time with the "Caterpillars" at school lately. It doesn't make sense, but when the Butterflies grow up they become Caterpillars...I still have overall confidence in what they are teaching Jack, they just must not read
The Very Hungry Caterpillar.
Here he is "blowing bubbles" with two of his friends

He enjoys spending time outside and cruising around inside. I hear that he has a girlfriend; they chase each other around and kiss one another.

Jack and I went home a couple weekends ago for my old roommate Becky's wedding. I helped coordinate pictures and was a guest book attendant with Jami. It was a really fun reception but I didn't take my camera, so you'll just have to believe that it was fun.

Jack has a new carseat and thinks it is pretty comfy.

Jack and I went to Nelnet for another of our "picnics" Jack is very interested in the fountain.

He spent his time that day trying to climb in using Jess' leg as a step.

That evening we went to a Saltdogs game. It was a lot of fun and a great evening.

The next weekend we went to Omaha to have supper with Jessi and Ryan. After supper we went back to Jessi's apartment so Jack could get his p.j's on...and his slippers too.

We took Jack back to the zoo one afternoon to ride the train. He was a little unsure about the driver telling the kids they could yell as loud as they wanted while we drove through the tunnel.
I did a lot of catching up with my non law-school friends before school started. We went out to eat with my dorm roommate Mallory and on Tuesday I met my high school friends for pizza.

Heather , me, and Jessi outside after pizza.

Jess' uncle had to have 5 bypass surgery last week, so Jack "scrubbed up" and went on rounds one evening. Uncle Jim is recovering and will get to come home soon.

We had another Nelnet picnic, this one was spent chasing Jack from the fountain. I did let him put his feet in but nothing more. We tried to throw pennies in, but Jack just wanted to eat them.

Jack got what he always wants...DADDY'S GLASSES!

He's always on the move, even when he has to wear his dad's clothes.

We went to Lee's Chicken Sunday night. This is our back to school tradition. We were also celebrating Jess starting his new position at work.

He's always cute, but often ornery.

and becoming a big boy. He holds his own bottle,

and decided over the weekend that he is tired of baby food. He'll still use it as face paint, but he'd rather eat the real deal now, so I say "maybe baby?" (like maybe he's still a baby, but maybe he's a big boy...or maybe I should have never used the phrase because it is causing confusion among my loyal fans)
